1. Service Limitations
Elderberry Companion is an AI-powered voice chat service for companionship, education, and entertainment. It does not provide professional advice, crisis intervention, or medical, psychiatric, or legal counseling. In case of emergency, please contact 911 or your local emergency services.
2. AI Companion Agent Behavior and Guidelines
Agent Personality and Interaction Style: Our AI companion agents are powered by advanced artificial intelligence technology from Ultravox and operate under specific behavioral guidelines designed to provide a safe, supportive, and appropriate user experience. Our AI companions are programmed to serve as gentle voice companions for people of all ages, with particular consideration for seniors. They communicate with enthusiasm but maintain a casual, warm, and supportive tone.
Conversation Boundaries and Content Restrictions: Our AI agents are specifically programmed with strict content boundaries. They will not engage in discussions involving sexual content, excessive profanity, belligerent behavior, or other inappropriate interactions. If a user persists with inappropriate content despite warnings, the agent is programmed to terminate the conversation. Additionally, our agents are explicitly prohibited from providing medical advice, legal counsel, psychiatric guidance, or crisis intervention services.
Emergency Situations: In the event a user mentions a medical emergency or crisis situation, our AI agents are programmed to immediately direct users to contact 911 or their local emergency services. Our agents cannot and will not attempt to provide emergency assistance or professional crisis support.
AI Limitations and User Responsibility: Users acknowledge that they are interacting with artificial intelligence, not human professionals. While our agents aim to provide supportive companionship, users must understand that AI responses are generated algorithmically and should not be relied upon for critical decisions, professional advice, or emergency situations.
3. Data & Privacy
Elderberry Companion collects only the information necessary to provide and improve our service (such as name, phone number, email, voice recordings, transcripts, and usage data). Please review our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Payments & Billing
All payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Elderberry Companion does not store or directly handle your credit card information.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Elderberry Companion does not offer refunds for one-time purchases of minutes (10, 30, or 60 minute plans). All such purchases are considered final and non-refundable.
For monthly subscription plans ($33/month), you may request a refund for the unused portion of your subscription within 7 days of your most recent renewal. If your request is approved, we will process a prorated refund for any unused days in your current billing cycle. After this period, you may cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future charges, but we do not provide refunds for prior periods.
To request a refund for a subscription, contact us at Admin@elderberrycompanion.ai. Approved refunds will be processed via Stripe back to your original payment method. We reserve the right to review and approve refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Elderberry Companion is provided “as is” and “as available.” No guarantees are made about uptime, availability, or the accuracy of information provided by the AI. Use of the service is at your own risk.
